About DISHA

Development Institute for Scientific Research, Health & Agriculture (DISHA) was started by a group of friends who had a childhood dream to bring a change in the lives of the poor and downtrodden. Every year, the 1997 batch alumnus of Sunshine Mission School, Bhadrak gathered in Puri to discuss what they can do for the poor children unable to afford quality education. All they were waiting for was to complete their studies and start a job, which would give them enough to give back to the society. In 2007, they finally started an organisation and registered it by the name of Development Institute for Scientific Research, Health & Agriculture (DISHA).
